Chef Daryl Shular made history as the first African American and minority to earn the Certified Master Chef (CMC) designation after passing the challenging 130-hour, eight-day exam. Through The Shular Institute, Chef Shular has mentored aspiring chefs, empowering them to succeed in the evolving culinary industry.
The Connector is proudly operated by Executive Chef Darold Boone, one of Chef Shular's former students. Together, they curate seasonal menus that blend the heart of Southern cooking with the depth of international flavors.
